IAS breaks into the music industry
12 May 2010
IAS b2b Marketing is well-known for its dedication to the B2B sector, but in an uncharacteristic departure, it has taken its first foray into the music industry by developing the creative for the debut album for folk punk band, Emelle.
The three founding members of the Edinburgh-based band, brothers
Craig, Owen and Rhys, are the sons of IAS' MD, Rob Morrice. They
were joined last year by fiddle player Dave MacFarlane and since
then have been developing their first album, 'What would your
mother say?'.
Rob Morrice commented: "The award-winning creative team at IAS
is used to pushing the boundaries of creativity in the B2B sector,
but they've enjoyed showing that their creative work stands up to
the best in the music industry too.
"Emelle has put on a number of special gigs for IAS and the
whole agency has supported them from the start. The creative team
jumped at the chance to the support the band and put their talents
into the guys' first album, which is great by the way."
You can find out more about the band and listen to a track from
the debut album at http://www.myspace.com/emellebros, the album is
priced at £5.00 and copies can be requested from IAS.
