IAS makes marketing history by becoming first UK agency to win BMA Agency of the Year

Business to business communication specialist, IAS b2b Marketing, has rewritten the marketing history books by becoming the first ever UK agency to be awarded the prestigious ‘B2 Agency of the Year’ accolade by the Business Marketing Association (BMA).
Still reeling after its unprecedented success at the industry
renowned B2 Awards, which saw the agency take home a mammoth 21
awards, IAS has been awarded the 'Grand Prix' in the advertising
category for its client Kingspan, and also named as BMA's 'Agency
of the Year'.
This is the first time in the association's 35-year history of
running the awards that a UK agency has taken the top gong, with
IAS fending off stiff competition from the likes of Slack &
Company, gyro, Stein + Partners Brand Activation, Eric Mower &
Associates, and Doremus.
Based in America, the BMA is the only global association for B2B
agencies that exists, designed to represent expertise in
business-to-business marketing and communications. Organised by the
leading association, the B2 Awards are one of the oldest and most
well respected B2B communications award programmes across the
globe.
Rob Morrice, MD of IAS, spoke about the agency's recent success:
"This is by far the best achievement of my working life and the
highest point of IAS' 37-year history - and that's saying something
as we are currently the most awarded agency in the history of UK
B2B marketing, having won three of the last four UK B2B Agency of
the Year awards to be held and a massive 34 awards so far this year
alone.
"We have always said that being the best doesn't necessarily
mean being the biggest and after this fantastic achievement, which
well and truly puts IAS on the global map, I think it is only fair
that we can make claim to being the best B2B agency around.
"However, never one to rest on our laurels, we have exciting
plans in the pipeline which will see us take the IAS model and
'franchise' it, investing in agencies across other parts of the
world, in a bid to further enhance our new, and well deserved,
'global' status."
First formed in 1973, before the term 'B2B' was officially
coined, IAS, or Industrial Arts Services as it was first known,
believes itself to be the UK founder of the B2B marketing
sector.
